Brief History of the school

Pax Academy started as a creche in February 2013 with just a child and one staff. The child’s mother needed a capable hand to take care of her three-month old baby as she was going back to work after maternity leave. We willingly stepped into that role as caregivers. The following month another child joined and another the following month.

At the end of six months, we had nine children of between the ages of two to nine months old, and three staff. After one year, we had fourteen children as a creche. Most of our parents were very happy with the quality of care their children received at Pax. They liked the serene atmosphere, the hygiene practiced and all the facilities that were provided to make the environment a true “home away from home”

As parents sadly took their children to older and bigger schools for Nursery education, they started putting pressure on us to upgrade Pax academy into nursery and primary school. As some children left, some parents stubbornly refused to remove their children of nursery or pre-school age. Some of these children are in pre-school, while a few are in nursery. In September 2016, we kicked off the construction of Pax building to encompass Nursery and Primary school. The school was officially opened on December 1st 2017.
